Meet Cigay: where passion meets purpose
Hello! My name is Cigay, and I've been an EFL teacher since 2008, having completed my studies at the University of Brighton. My dream for cigayscorner is to build a strong online community that boosts people's confidence in speaking English. I want to help students of all ages succeed, no matter their goals – whether it's for higher-level exams (A1-C2), business, leisure, or academic pursuits. We're here to support your journey and help you shine.
Our unique approach: fun, customized, and community-driven
What makes cigayscorner different? We believe learning should be engaging and tailored to you! I prefer to use customized lessons based on what students *want* to be doing, not just what they "must" or "should." We utilize a variety of tools, especially videos, songs, and lots of fun reading texts. Of course, speaking and games are always a big part of our dynamic learning environment. Our passion, fun methods, strong community, and individual approach make learning with us truly special.
Who we love to teach: every learner, every goal
The ideal student for cigayscorner? Anyone, at any age! I teach kids as young as 7 up to ages of 70+. Whether your goal is for business, leisure, academic success, improving speaking skills, mastering presentations, or any other objective, I'm here for it!
